Background

Peg was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999. After treatment, she did not have a recurrence until 2003 when a site was found on her sternum. Though she has managed its spread with countless treatments (chemo, radiation, vaccines, etc.), the cancer is now in her bone marrow, liver, lungs, and brain.
